Contemporary Indian Fiction and its Artistic Excellency: A PEN India literary evening

On 12th January , 2018, PEN India ( a proposed Kolkata PEN Centre of International PEN, Secretariat Building London) had held a Literary event on ‘Contemporary Indian Fiction and its artistic excellency’

A panel discussion, story telling and a part of the story / few paragraphs reading.
This programme meant to attract readers towards fiction reading.

Three speaker spoke about the topic and 10 story writers told their story, read a few pages from their work, and the root or source of the story, how they could have created.

বিষয়ঃ ‘সমকালীন গদ্য ও তার শৈল্পিক নিদর্শন বা বিশেষতা’।
আলোচনায় অংশ নিয়েছেন সাহিত্যিক ভগীরথ মিশ্র, তপন বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় ও নলিনী বেরা । .
গল্পপাঠে ছিলেন- রণবীর পুরকায়স্থ, সুরঞ্জন প্রামাণিক, সুকান্তি দত্ত, তৃষ্ণা বসাক, ঈশা দেব পাল, তন্বী হালদার, চন্দন চক্রবর্তী, সাদিক হোসেন, এবং আরও অনেকে।
গতকাল, ১২ই জানুয়ারি, ২০১৮, পি ই এন ইন্ডিয়া’ র সমকালীন গল্পপাঠ ও ‘সমকালীন গদ্য ও তার শৈল্পিক নিদর্শন বা বিশেষতা’ আলোচনা সুষ্ঠ সম্পন্ন হল। আমন্ত্রিত অতিথিবর্গ সবাই উপস্থিত থেকে অংশ গ্রহন করেছেন। সবাইকে পি ই এন ইন্ডিয়ার পক্ষ থেকে আন্তরিক অভিনন্দন। ছবিতে অনুষ্ঠানের উপস্থিত ব্যক্তিরা। সঞ্চালনা করেছেনঃ শ্যামল ভট্টাচার্য । ছবি তুলেছেন তাপস মহাপাত্র।IMG_20180112_205327

  1. This is unfortunate that such a great institution with commendable work and considerable heritage for litterateurs, it receives so weak a response these days. I want to be a member of PEN as I write, I have published in little mags and books on my own. I DON’T WANT UNDUE ATTENTION AND FAME I am not worthy of. I AM A DISCIPLE OF RABINDRANATH AND BIBHUTIBHUSHAN BANDYOPADHYAY. PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW I CAN BE OF ANY HELP TO PEN
